You will no longer have the liberty to hop on an American Airlines plane with 2 complimentary checked bags starting with tickets bought after June 15th (as if they dont understand that people are paying over $4 for gas).

American Airlines will ALSO “trim their fleets, cut their flight schedules and lay off workers in the coming months,” according to airline spokeswoman Betsy Talton.

Well…I guess I won’t be flying American anytime soon. I feel sorry for the airline because they cite the main reason for the change in policy to be because of the forever escalating cost to fuel their jets. Infact, it was reported that ”rising oil prices have inflated the airline’s annual fuel costs by nearly $3 billiion since the start of the year.” WOW!
